Our Medicare Supplement plans help pay for costs that Original Medicare doesn't cover, such as:
A Medicare Supplement plan is different from Medicare Advantage Plans. Those plans cover all the benefits that Original Medicare covers, while a Supplement Plan is just that—supplementary.
- You must continue to pay your Medicare Part B premium.
- A benefit period begins on the first day you receive services as an inpatient in a hospital and ends after you have been out of the hospital and have not received skilled care in any other facility for 60 consecutive days.
- Bronze coverage also includes $8 a day for days 1-365 at a non-Medicare-participating facility.
